So I've become addicted to addiction psychology. Weird y/y? I've surrounded myself with books on the topic, research articles, and the ever popular vh1. Perhaps life decisions shouldn't be made based on vh1 documentaries, but they are so damn good that I just can't help it. Its soooo interesting to read about the nature and nurture aspects that foster drug dependence.
I sent in my application to work at the Harris County Psychiatric Hospital. I don't know what this will involve, but I'm excited about it.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the only reason vh1 has been replaying the documentaries on the Sexual Revolution and Drug Years is because the tribute to The Who is tomorrow night. Go figure.
